What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at Indian Shores RV Resort and Campground?
Indian Shores RV Resort & Campground is looking for energized housekeepers to work in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. We have 9 cabins, 1 park model, 1 RV unit along with 2 campground laundry facilities and bathroom/shower facilities that need to be cleaned and maintained for our guests as well as our common areas. Come join our team! Past experience a plus.
Housekeeping Duties:
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Maintain cleanliness of grills
- Check fire pits and notify maintenance if needs to be cleaned out
- Vacuum carpets and rugs as needed
- Dust furniture
- Maintaining cottage decks and deck furniture
- Empty and cleans trash containers
- Wipe down all surfaces
- Clean and empty refrigerators as needed
- Clean stoves and microwaves
- Clean restrooms including showers, toilets and bath tubs
- Clean windows, mirrors and doors
- Empty dishwashers
- Makes beds and changes linens as required
- Laundry (wash, dry, fold and put away properly)
- Ensure cottages are properly stocked with towels, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
- Perform all COVID sanitation procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation
- Weekends are a must
- Attention to detail
- Complete duties in a timely manner
- Be able to work independently as well as with other housekeepers
- Follow instructions and directives
- Ability to stand on feet for extended period of time along with being able to squat, kneel, and bend over
- Able to lift 20 lbs
- Neat and clean appearance
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
