Job Summary

Indian Springs Country Club is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time General Maintenance/Janitorial Worker to help maintain and enhance the physical appearance of our tennis courts, grounds, and facilities. This role is essential for providing a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for our members and guests.

This position is ideal for retirees, military personnel, and students seeking a flexible and rewarding part-time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning and Upkeep:

• Maintain the cleanliness of the tennis building and outdoor tennis courts.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including trash removal, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.
• Fill water coolers for member use.
• Blow and vacuum tennis courts to ensure they are clean and ready for use each morning.

Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, crouch, and perform manual labor.
• Attention to detail for identifying and resolving maintenance needs.
• Problem-solving abilities for diagnosing and addressing minor repairs.
• Strong communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with the facilities manager.
• Punctuality, reliability, and a proactive work ethic.
• Ability to operate equipment such as blowers and vacuums for tennis court maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in maintenance, janitorial work, or a related field is a plus.
• Clean background. (Background checks are preformed)

Working Conditions

• Work may involve both indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions.
• Tasks may require working in confined spaces or elevated positions (e.g., on ladders).
• Weekend availability is required, with shifts scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Ability to drive golf carts.
• Ability to operate and handle equipment such as blowers and vacuums.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week

Schedule:

• Weekends only
