Pool Maintenance Job Summary
Our company is looking for reliable 1099 contract based Pool Technicians to assist our team. In this role, you will use vacuums, nets, brushes and other tools to help clean debris from various pools, change or backwash filters, test and add chemicals as needed and do basic troubleshooting of other basic types of equipment.
You'll use your clean, reliable vehicle (van or pickup) to service customer accounts.
Pool Technician Duties and Responsibilities
- Use vacuum , net, brushes & other equipment to clean debris from pool.
- Empty skimmers, Backwash or change pool filters
- Test water for chemical levels and adjust as directed by software or others.
- Fill out online and hard copy service related information at each customer visit.
- Perform other preventative maintenance as needed.
- Additionally, will be assisting in pool opening / closings and repairs as needed
- Additional contract hours are available in our Const. Dept. for those wanting more hours. Billing Rate(s) commensurate with abilities in those areas.
Pool Technician Requirements and Qualifications
- Proven track record of successful Pool Maintenance positions.
- You must have OR GET a valid CLASS E Mo driver’s license and clean reliable pickup or van transportation to drive to service client's homes.
- Pool management or maintenance experience preferred. Lower than stated pay range for those who'll need training.
- You'll be required to send pics of pools and reports using your phone and data. Due to this, you'll need an unlimited phone data plan.
- The selected candidate will have 5 years of prior pool cleaning and maintenance experience, and a reliable clean pickup or van.
- We expect all onsite personnel / contractors to have a clean appearance and professional demeanor.
- Experience repairing pumps, filters, heaters and plumbing is a definite plus.
Pool Technician Compensation
- Based upon hourly billing and per job flat rate.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
