Production Management Support Team Member
SUMMARY
The Production Control Support carries out all applicable company policies and procedures. Provide Process Priority Support secondary treatment, quality sort processes. Ensures shipments are met and priorities are pushed to the Shipping Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - include the following but not limited to.
- Utilize AS400 and green sheet information to ensure priorities are being produced in the manufacturing area.
- Verify that shipping shortages are being processed in a timely manner to ensure no miss shipments.
- Place priority cones on priority parts at the Surface treatment and Secondary treatment preload areas.
- Assist in the moving of Open pallet and whiteboard parts from one process to the next parts to make it to the Shipping Department.
- Update shortage list and parts location and distribute to all area leaders.
- Communicate any miss ships or near misses to management.
- Communicate to manufacturing, quality and shipping Area Leaders priority information.
- Help other departments as necessary.
- Able to work any shift, weekends, and Holidays as needed.
- Print APICS II paperwork as directed by PC.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum of a High School Diploma required. Prefer a minimum of 1-year employment at IAF.
Knowledge of Kanban flow and how important the Kanban system is at IAF.
Must be able to communicate clearly to IAF Management Team.
Some computer skills helpful.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, interpret general priority parts information, and procedures.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.
Fluent in English. (Japanese as a second language is helpful, but not required).
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Must be able to communicate clearly to Manufacturing department Team Leaders.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
