Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Team Member to join our Quality Assurance/Quality Control team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained in all stages of production. The ideal candidate will be committed to improving quality processes, identifying areas for improvement, and working collaboratively with other team members to meet organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular quality checks on products or services at different stages of production.
- Set up different machines to check for defects. Sort Machines, DTR sort machines.
- Inspect raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Document inspection results and report non-conformance or defects to the relevant departments.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes, procedures, and guidelines.
- Support the identification and resolution of quality issues and concerns, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members, production staff, and management to enhance product quality.
- Support audits and inspections by regulatory agencies when required.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in quality management or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, ideally within [industry-specific experience, e.g., manufacturing, food production, software, etc.].
- Have mechanical Knowledge
- Ability to read and understand technical specifications, blueprints, and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with testing equipment and quality control tools.
- Experience with using calipers and micrometers
Working Conditions:
- May require occasional overtime depending on production needs
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment
