Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee our quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management systems, provide leadership in QA/QC including development, formulation and implementation of systems., policies, plans/objectives for the management of manufacturing product quality and food safety systems.
Essential Job Functions
- Manage the QA/QC team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective execution of quality control measures.
- Lead quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in quality processes and systems.
- Oversee the investigation of non-conformances, customer complaints, and product recalls; implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on quality assurance practices and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Execute thorough SOP's
- Lead the Food and Safety Program
Requirements
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Chemistry and Biology), or other related field, or equivalent experience
EXPERIERENCE: Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing facility, preferable in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Familiarity with quality inspection techniques and tools is preferred.
- Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager) is a plus.
