As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), you will provide comprehensive mental health and behavioral health care to patients, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. Reporting to the lead psychiatrist, you will utilize your core skills in patient care and assessment, alongside premium skills such as critical care experience and familiarity with EMR systems. With a commitment to quality care, you will play a vital role in improving the mental health outcomes of individuals, particularly those with complex needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assesses patients’ mental health to determine the best treatment course of action utilizing acquired histories and personal interactions.
- Issues appropriate prescriptions and/or administers medication under the supervision of physician staff.
- Consult with physicians on cases that are beyond the scope of qualification of PMHNP
- Put all relevant patient data in medical records and case presentations
- Monitors patients’ progress, modifies treatment goals, reviews transition plans, provides recommendations, and informs physicians of any issues encountered.
- Cultivates a climate of trust and compassion to promote enhanced healthy living.
- Complies with applicable medical care regulations, statutes, safety standards and legal requirements.
- Collaborates effectively with team members.
- Assures clinical documentation is completed in accordance with the facility's policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of accredited PMHNP Program.
- Active and unrestricted Medical and DEA licenses for the State of Indiana.
- Knowledge of medical guidelines and processes regarding assessment, examination, therapy, and recovery.
- Caring and compassionate demeanor.
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
- Experienced in the use of technology.
- Bilingual a plus.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
