What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Assessor - Tax Assessment position at Indiana County?
Field Assessor Position:
The Field Assessor position is required to discover, list and value all the taxable and
exempt real property for Ad Valorem tax purposes in accordance with applicable PA
Assessment Law for Indiana County. Prior experience/education/training should include
building construction, computer usage and basic mathematical skills. Must have a valid
driver's license. Must hold and maintain a Certified Pennsylvania Evaluator (C.P.E.)
license or obtain within 1 year of employment. This position will require working
outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Please submit resume or application to

The pay rate is $17.00 (not certified) to $17.51 /hour (certified. 32.5 hour workweek.
