What are the responsibilities and job description for the Call Center Representative position at Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance?
We are looking for someone that can:
- Provide professional verbal and written communications, including speaking clearly and distinctly over the telephone.
- Listen intently with the practice to hear people out, and accurately restate the needs of the customer, and document the customer interaction proficiently.
- Effectively utilize multiple computer systems for essential job functions, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, and becoming familiar with Company processing systems as assigned.
- Multi-task, develop good organizational skills as well as prioritize work when performing the various tasks for the department and the job.
Requirements for Success:
- Continually participate in training programs for current and new products and services, customer concern and telephone skills training, and other training, as required, to provide an excellent customer service experience.
- Ability to be a positive influence in establishing, developing, and maintaining professional working relationships with internal and external customers to ensure the prompt, efficient, and positive customer experience.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent. Prior customer service or call center representative experience is preferred.
- Maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
