What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly/Sub Assembly position at Indiana Furniture Industries Inc?
All employees must wear safety glasses at all times. (Non-prescription safety glasses will be provided by Indiana Furniture.) Hearing protection and work gloves are available upon request. Individuals accepting job assignments with Indiana Furniture must be able to work during scheduled work hours on a regular basis.
Must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations:
- Assembler and sub assemble units
- Use hand and power tools on a regular basis
- Lift up to 50 lbs maximum and up to 20 lbs regularly
- Able to lift and flip over large and heavy units
- Use glue gun, tape measure, hammer
- Ability to install locks and hinges
- Good eye for detail is required
- Ability to work alone
