What are the responsibilities and job description for the Calibrator Operator position at Indiana Furniture Industries Inc?
All Employees must wear safety glasses at all times. (Non-prescription safety glasses will be provided by Indiana Furniture). Hearing protection and work gloves are available upon request. Individuals accepting job assignments with Indiana Furniture must be able to work during scheduled work hours on a regular basis.
Polisher/Calibrator Operator must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations:
- Lift up to 50 lbs maximum and up to 35 lbs regularly.
- Ability to read a tape measure and micrometer
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Inspect calibrated tops for adherence to quality standards
- Willingness to cross train on other machines or in other departments.
- Work as a team member.
- Maintain consistent production quality.
- Maintain safe work environment.
