Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center provides comprehensive care for patients with hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder medical conditions and injuries. There are 12 highly-skilled and well-recognized surgeons in the practice and 22 highly-skilled hand therapists.

We are currently seeking an experienced full-time Surgery Scheduler!
This individual will verify and obtain patient insurance eligibility, benefits, prior authorizations and schedule all surgeries for the physician staff at the Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center.
Responsibilities:
Surgery Scheduler F/T position (Monday through Friday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM)
- Schedule all surgeries for physicians
- Obtain insurance benefits and preauthorization for those procedures.
- Complete tasks in a timely, efficient fashion
- Work well in a team and able to set priorities
- Must be self-directed
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service
- Including above average written and verbal communication skills
- Computer experience with medical background preferred
- Experience with Allscripts/SRS a plus
