As a Clinic Nurse, you'll be at the heart of the IHC team, collaborating closely with the Nurse Manager, Clinic Nurse Supervisor, and Clinic Providers to elevate patient education during medication distribution. Overview
- Orders, inventories, and is responsible for medication room supplies
- Responsible for proper dispensing of medications to clients
- Functions as a support team member for providers by reinforcing patient education
- Assists providers with Chronic Disease management
- Maintains positive professional relationships with pharmaceutical vendors
- Participates in the preparation and maintenance of accurate client medical records
- Performs related work as required
- Follows HIPAA and OSHA standards
- Performs other work assignments related to licensure requirements
- Assesses patients’ unmet health and social needs
- Telephone Triage for hospital follow-up appointments and same-day appointments
- Referral management
- Management of medication refill Requests
- Prior authorizations for medications
- Hourly position (Based on RN/LPN level of education and experience)
- $2000.00 retention bonus paid after one year of employment

- Education: Graduation from an accredited RN/LPN program
- Licensure: Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Indiana
- Certification: Proof of current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (AED included)
- Experience with electronic health records preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Interacts with colleagues and patients in a professional manner
