Summary/Objective:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic team at Indiana Members Credit Union. This is an in-person position based in Indianapolis, IN. The role primarily involves generating and delivering reports on member engagement, financial performance, and operational efficiency. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming data into actionable insights that help drive strategic decision-making and enhance our member services. Your analytical skills and passion for data will help us optimize our operations and deliver exceptional value to our members.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze and interpret data from various sources to support business decisions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key metrics and trends.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data quality checks and updates.
- Work closely with different departments to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Identify and analyze trends in member behavior, financial performance, and market conditions.
- Utilize specific software and tools such as Power BI, SQL Server, and Excel to perform data analysis and reporting.
- Recommend and implement process improvements based on data insights to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business/Finance or related field.
- Required experience in Financial Institutions or accounting.
- Technical Experience in Power BI, SQL Server.
- Experience designing and building data visualizations with MS Excel, Power BI, or similar reporting tools.
- Solid understanding of BI concepts, and the ability to articulate these concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Preference for experience in statistical methods, mathematical techniques, forecasting.
- Previous Credit Union experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
