Summary/objective
Indiana Members Credit Union is seeking a strategic and dynamic leader to serve as our Director of Human Resources. This role is pivotal in driving HR initiatives, fostering a strong organizational culture, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. Essential functions

- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee all facets of human resources including employee relations, performance management, and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the workplace.
- Manage employee benefits, payroll, and compensation processes in collaboration with ADP Workforce Now or other HRIS systems.
- Utilize data-driven insights to make informed HR decisions and strategies.

- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.

Supervisory responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the HR team to achieve excellence in service delivery.
- Assist in resolving problems and answer questions
Work environment
- Office (primarily onsite with occasional WFH opportunities)

Travel required
- Minimal travel required, with occasional visits to branch/administrative offices.
Required education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
