What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mortgage Servicing Liaison position at Indiana Members Credit Union?
PURPOSE: The Mortgage Servicing Liaison is responsible to provide verbal and written professional request resolution from Members, Employees and mortgage staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
· Facilitate productive written and verbal communication with Subservicer, Mortgage Services, Members and Branch personnel as needed to address requests and maintain a productive and compliant relationship
· Maintain servicing requests through SDP ticket management system
· Possess a knowledge of mortgage and home equity origination and servicing concepts, practices, and procedures as well as regulatory compliance and quality audit including but not limited to: payoff statements, escrow analysis, adjustable interest rate updates, and payment processing
· Manage efficient follow up for documentation and information required to meet key performance indicators
· Manage flood and homeowners insurance reporting to ensure members have required coverage on their property
· Update loan servicing and origination systems and SDP with required data, commentary and key dates as needed
· Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Minimum 2 years prior mortgage and/or home equity production and/or servicing experience
· Minimum 2 years prior branch related experience
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Experience with Loan Origination System and Credit Union System platforms, a plus
· Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Access
· Able to work in a fast paced, team oriented atmosphere where the environment changes on a consistent basis
· Able to prioritize tasks and organization daily functions, multi-tasking a plus
· Able to work with minimal management
· Experience processing task in a paperless environment, a plus
