What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Support Specialist position at Indiana Members Credit Union?
Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU) is seeking a qualified individual to join its Information Systems Department as an Operations Support Specialist. The Operations Support team provides technical assistance and support to the Credit Union’s branch and back office staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in the configuration of workstation equipment and insure proper installation of all operating systems and software applications.
- Engage and collaborate with the Network, Systems, Applications and Operations teams to escalate unresolved hardware or application issues.
- Deploy and setup workstations for branch and back-office staff.
- Serve as a first line of service to all end users.
- Manage and maintain hardware inventory.
Requirements:
- One year of experience working in branch or back office operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends when necessary
Physical demands
This position requires the ability to sit for long periods of time. It may also require standing, walking, carrying, pushing, pulling, lifting (up to 25 pounds), kneeling, crouching, reaching, talking and hearing.
Travel required
Will periodically be required to travel to other Credit Union locations and branches, as well as agreed upon conferences and training.
