The delivery driver position fills a vital role that completes the sales cycle. This position must be able to efficiently and safely deliver metal roofing materials and trims to the job-site or other customer location. This position must be able to efficiently and safely deliver metal roofing materials and trims to the job-site or other customer location. Job Duties
- Safely and efficiently drive heavy duty truck and trailer set-up
- Follow all DOT and company safe driving guidelines and policies
- Physical requirements include, but are not limited to: standing, walking, reaching, lifting, stacking or pulling products of various sizes weighing sometimes in excess of 50lbs
- Inspect and ensure the truck and trailer are properly loaded and strapped down
- Verify load prior to delivery; verify all parts and accessories are loaded, be prepared to step in to help load if necessary
- Verify delivery of items with customer, take drop photos and upload into software
- Maintain a clean and organized truck. Unload all equipment and remove all trash as required
- Maintain daily written logs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Valid CDL A
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report for past 3 years
- Past post-offer drug screen
- Able to carry product at various times throughout shift, sometimes in excess of 50lbs, when necessary
- Knowledge of flatbed experience
- Knowledge of straps, chains and bommers
