We are searching for a hard-working Payment Poster to join our Amazing Accounts Receivable team!
This position consists of posting insurance payments and adjustments. This individual will help by working with the Accounts Receivable Department by reviewing Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) for accuracy and assisting with various other AR tasks within the department.
This position is Part-Time: Tuesday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Responsibilities: not to be considered all-inclusive
- Post insurance payments and adjustments to the appropriate patient’s accounts including electronic payments, insurance checks and credit card payments.
- Calculate discounts on contractual services
- Review EOBs from insurance companies for accuracy
- Document all daily activity on patient accounts in computer contact notes
- Initiate refund requests
- Enter NSF checks into the system to start the letter process with the patient
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Professionalism and service orientation toward patients
- Prior experience in a medical and/or dental environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and process information quickly and accurately
- Experience with reading Explanation of Benefit from insurance companies
