Clinic Front Desk Float
Indiana Physical Therapy is hiring a Clinic Front Desk Float. The CFD Float is responsible for maintaining assigned clinic’s front desk responsibilities in an organized and efficient manner. The CFD Float will maintain a 40 hour work week, work location will change based on coverage needs.
- Monday – Friday 6:45 am to 2:45 pm
Primary Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Greet all patients in a timely and friendly manner while checking them in through the EMR system promptly and accurately.
- Schedule patient appointments, utilizing assertive scheduling and rescheduling techniques to maximize therapists’ schedules while minimizing open, unscheduled time periods.
- Verify insurance benefits for patients and explain benefits to patients.
- Submit, maintain, and track proper insurance authorizations in the EMR system.
- Coordinate communication within the clinic, and with the business office and other clinics, to ensure necessary information and data is shared.
- Maintain clinic supplies inventory.
- Facilitate a courteous, friendly, and productive clinic environment for patients, staff, and visitors to the clinic.
- Follow the directives of clinic Senior Therapist and therapy staff.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, using a high level of professionalism
- Solid understanding of insurance terminology and of general office duties
- Proficient computer skills including Windows-based office programs
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Ability to travel to any clinic location
Indiana Physical Therapy operates 19 outpatient orthopedic clinics in Indiana, including six in Fort Wayne and one each in Angola, Auburn, Bluffton, Columbia City, Decatur, Elkhart, Goshen, Huntington, Indianapolis, Kendallville, Mishawaka, New Haven, and Warsaw.
