A thriving local property management company is currently seeking motivated and skilled full-time Community Technicians to enhance our maintenance team. Working under the guidance of our Maintenance Supervisor, this role is pivotal in ensuring the operational excellence and comfort of our properties. Position: Full-time Community Technician
Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Location: Local (In-person work required)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings and grounds.
- Handle repairs and maintenance of electrical circuits, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures including water heaters and dishwashers.
- Maintain and repair building exteriors including roofs, doors, and windows.
- Install drywall, trim, and appliances in units.
- Willingness to work evening, weekend, and on-call shifts, including emergency response.
- Communicate professionally with team members, residents, and external contacts.
- Ensure safety standards are met in the operation of all equipment and handling of hazardous materials.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in maintenance.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- HVAC certification is an asset but not mandatory.
