Internships are available based on business needs and can include event and volunteer operations; communications; marketing; graphic design; community engagement; sports tourism; business development; and finance. Position Overview
The Marketing & Communications Internship is designed to expand a student’s knowledge and hands-on experience in marketing, communications, and event promotion. Interns will play an active role in supporting campaigns and media operations for a robust lineup of major events in late 2025 and early 2026, including the Discover Big Ten Football Championship, Indy Classic, and the 2026 NCAA Men’s Final Four.
Key Responsibilities
Interns will work closely with the marketing and communications team to assist with:

$2000 per semester
Location: On-site - Indianapolis, Indiana. Relocation or housing is not available.

- Social Media: Support planning, content creation, and live event coverage across platforms.
- Event Media Operations: Aid in pre-event setup and on-site media logistics.
- Website Management: Help maintain and update event-related web content.
- Public Relations: Draft and edit media advisories, press releases, and promotional copy.
- Media Monitoring: Track press coverage and compile media reports for internal and external use.
