What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crew Leader position at Indiana Spray Foam?
Indiana Spray Foam is looking for highly motivated individuals with drive and ambition to join their team out of the Lowell office. We are looking for Crew Leaders to supervise crew under our Foreman. Essential Functions:
- Responsible and accountable for working with other team members and following orders as directed by Production Manager
- Survey the job site and take steps to prevent and protect against overspray
- Make necessary preparations of installation process at job site
- Uphold and protect the high quality standards of Indiana Spray Foam and ensure that all work performed meets or exceeds these standards.
- Responsible for the installation of insulation in residential and commercial buildings
- Fill out all required forms and paperwork with each job
- Teach proper spraying techniques to new employees
- Work both inside and outside in crawl spaces and attics
- Maintain equipment and follow safety procedure
- Maintain a high standard of clean-up before leaving any job site
- Maintain a high level of communication with the customer
Required Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to follow directions
- Construction Experience required
- Ability to train new employees
- Basic Mechanical skills
- Ability to take ownership in your crew's work
- Must demonstrate a respectful and professional demeanor at all times
- Operate equipment that injects foam insulation by carrying/holding a hose that weigh up to 56 lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders and crawl in attics frequently
- Understand the proper operating procedures of the spray equipment
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Bilingual
- Valid driver's license - ability to drive truck & trailer

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
