- Master of Arts degree
- Foreign language teaching experience
- Proficiency in Russian as measured by an advanced high proficiency or higher or ACTFL equivalency
- Native or near-native fluency in Russian and English, and Russia cultural knowledge
- 2-years of Russian language teaching experience at the university level
- Russian, Language Pedagogy, TESL, Language Studies, or Applied Linguistics
