Job Title: Driver/Spotter
VALID CDL LICENSE OR EXPERIENCE MOVING TRAILERS
Must Have a Valid Driver's License
Movement of trailer will only be on property
SHIFT- 12am-8am M-F
Purpose of Job: Facilitate the movement loading and unloading of trailers and maintaining proper safety protocols.
List of Key Essential Functions:
- Individual must be able to hook up to unhook from, move, spot, and adjust legs of all trailers located on the premises. This includes dry van, refrigerated, bulk and liquid trailers to any required location (yard, docks, scale, etc). Also required to inspect, refill fuel and add stabilizers, etc. as needed to the spotter and notify manager of any mechanical issues.
- Individual must receive, inspect and unload incoming materials and supplies. Insure required paperwork, documentation, seals are in compliance with plant and company policies and procedures.
- Correctly utilize the WMS (warehouse management system) scanner system to receive, pick, locate and transfer products by following the various SOPs.
- Efficiently load finished goods on carrier trailers while assuring finished seals conform to plant policies, procedures. Complete required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
- Complete accurate cycle counts on materials as assigned.
- Follow Management direction.
- Respectfully communicate and build positive rapports with Carrier representatives.
- Follow all plant policies and procedures including GMPs and Safety initiatives.
- Communicate any issues immediately with Supervisor.
- Responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues.
- Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
- Must maintain a valid CDL license and have a current copy in personnel file.
- MUST HAVE VALID CDL LICENSE OR EXPERIENCE MOVING TRAILERS
