What are the responsibilities and job description for the Judicial Law Clerk position at Indiana Tax Court?
The Indiana Tax Court is currently accepting applications for a Judicial Law Clerk to work under the supervision of Judge Justin L. McAdam.. This is a full-time position with an anticipated start date in April 2025. Applicants interested in either a term clerk position or a career clerk position will be considered. The salary range is $87,000 - $120,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Duties are similar to those generally expected of appellate court law clerks and involve a variety of tasks, including legal research and writing, legal analysis, drafting orders and opinions, and providing counsel to the judge and the Court. Applicants should possess strong academic qualifications, have strong legal research and writing skills, and be able to communicate complex concepts simply and concisely. Participation in law review, moot court, or other similar experience is advantageous. Prior tax experience is a plus but is not required.
