Indiana Tech is seeking Adjunct Faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences for the health science program.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Teaching undergraduate courses in the Health Sciences program in Fort Wayne, IN.
• Courses may include: pharmacology, immunology, endocrinology, toxicology, biomedical ethics, biomedical research methods, nutrition, microbiology, and anatomy.
• Ability to adjust to changing needs and processes while anticipating challenges, identifying problems, and developing solutions

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Health Science or Biology or closely related field preferred.
• College-level teaching experience, preferred
• Clinical experience, preferred
• Experience teaching a variety of health science or biology courses, preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population.
• Demonstrated evidence of strong written and oral communication.
• Experience with a Learning Management System.
• Ability to use technology effectively in all aspects of their work, including teaching.
• Support the mission, vision, and strategic plan of Indiana Institute of Technology.

Working Conditions

Work is normally performed in a classroom environment.
