General Summary

Indiana Tech is seeking Adjunct Faculty in our Fort Wayne area locations for a variety of classes. Adjunct faculty will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in psychology and social sciences.

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Teach courses as defined by course and learning objectives established through the college and defined in teaching letter of agreement.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in psychology or closely related field, and 18 graduate grade hours in the teaching subject area.

 

Experience

  • Teaching Experience (online and face-to-face) Preferred
  • Student-centered teaching approaches
  • Professional experience in the social sciences field preferred.

 

Working Conditions

Work is normally performed in a typical classroom environment.

General Summary

Indiana Tech is accepting applications for Adjunct Faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences for the psychology program.

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Teaching undergraduate courses in psychology and social science related courses
  • Courses may include; Introduction to Psychology, Human Growth and Development, Theories of Counseling, Aging, Group Dynamics, and other related courses.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Psychology or closely related field required.
  • College-level teaching experience, preferred.
  • Profession experience in psychology or closely related field required.
  • Experience with a Learning Management System, preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population.
  • Demonstrated evidence of strong written and oral communication.
  • Ability to use technology effectively in all aspects of their work, including teaching.
