We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Business Administration and Human Resource Management within the College of Business. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the academic and professional growth of our students while being part of a dynamic and inclusive academic community.

 

This nine-month teaching position involves teaching eight in-person courses per academic year, with opportunities to teach graduate courses both in-person and online. Work with a purpose! The life-changing work we do at Indiana Tech requires a true team effort. This is what drives us!

 

As a full-time, tenure-track faculty member in Business Administration and Human Resource Management at Indiana Institute of Technology, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic journey of our students. You will be responsible for teaching eight in-person courses each academic year, with the exciting opportunity to also teach graduate courses both in-person and online. Your role will involve developing innovative curriculum and course materials that foster professional and scholarly interactions with students. Beyond teaching, you will mentor students, guiding them toward academic success and career readiness. Your active participation in course and program-level learning assessments, campus committees, departmental meetings, recruiting, and quality improvement initiatives will be crucial in maintaining and enhancing the educational standards of our programs. You will have a strong affiliation with SHRM, NIHRA, and other industry-based organizations and create a supportive and engaging learning environment that embraces diversity and promotes student success.

 

To be considered for this role, you must hold a doctoral degree in Business, Human Resource Management, Management, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution. A minimum of five years of teaching experience is required, along with proficiency in using technology effectively in teaching, including platforms such as Canvas, Microsoft Office, and TEAMS. Consideration may be made for applicants with unique, successful and relevant industry experience coupled with a master’s degree. While not mandatory, preferred qualifications include SHRM credentials and experience in Human Resource Management, both in-person and online teaching experience, and a background in working with organizations and internships. Experience in curriculum development, grant development and submission, and teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels will be highly valued. Additionally, the ability to teach in areas such as risk management, business law, ethics, or business analytics, along with a record of scholarly work, will enhance your candidacy.
