Position Overview:
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist with a background in Managed Service Providers (MSP) environments and a passion for exceptional customer service. In this role, you will support our clients with their technology needs, troubleshoot issues, and provide proactive solutions to enhance their IT infrastructure. This position requires a balance of technical skills and customer empathy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote and on-site IT support to clients, resolving issues with a customer-first approach.
- Manage and monitor client systems, networks, and infrastructure to ensure uptime and performance.
- Perform software installations, updates, and configurations as needed.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly and effectively.
- Communicate clearly with clients to understand their needs and offer friendly, proactive support.
- Collaborate with the MSP team to maintain accurate documentation of client systems and service tickets.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, sharing insights with the team.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in an MSP environment, with hands-on experience in IT support and troubleshooting.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
- Strong knowledge in Windows and macOS, network configurations, and common IT systems.
- Experience with RMM/EDR and ticketing systems (e.g., ConnectWise, ServiceNow, etc.).
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , Microsoft Certified IT Professional, or other IT-related certifications are an advantage.
