Description
James E. Davis School is a state-accredited, non-public school committed to helping students succeed academically. Located in Lebanon, Indiana, our school offers a supportive teaching environment with small class sizes—typically fewer than 10 students—allowing for personalized instruction and meaningful student-teacher connections.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Math teacher to instruct middle and high school students, with a focus on preparing high schoolers for graduation credit. Our teachers are well-supported, enabling them to focus on what they do best: teaching and inspiring students.

Qualifications
Skills, Competencies and Qualifications
- Must be at least 21.
- Work experience with behaviorally challenging students is preferred.
- Positive attitude and be student-oriented in their approach toward discipline and consequences.
- Have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Following job offer must complete a physical examination and drug screen as well as all other pre-employment requirements including an extensive criminal background check.
- Must be able to pass annual background checks.
- Must hold a valid Driver’s License and able to be insured by IUMCH’s insurance carrier. Must be able to drive an IUMCH vehicle.
- Teachers will have to have a positive attitude and be student-oriented in their approach toward discipline and consequences.
- Teachers will be able to work as a team with all student care-givers.
- Teachers must be able to follow the practices, philosophy and mission of the James E. Davis School.
- Teachers will need to have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Teachers will need to have operational knowledge of computer programs, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new programs as required.
- Teachers must be able to restrain students as necessary and complete CPI training.
Salary : $48,000 - $79,000
