Job Summary
Department Specific Responsibilities
- Advises Hutton Honors College first year and continuing students in 1-on-1 meetings and small-group presentations.
- Understands the changing structure of the Hutton Honors Notation and new requirements for Honors College membership (both revised at the start of AY24-25) and guide students appropriately.
- Encourages students to assume responsibility for their own education and to think outside the box and beyond what is required of them.
- Helps students develop academic, personal, and post-graduate plans.
- Shares information about HHC opportunities (including research and creative activity grants, study abroad, Honors student organizations).
- Makes referrals to other academic and non-academic units on campus as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus.
