Job Summary
Department Specific Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating content and designing materials that enhance our current programming and communications designed for alumni and volunteers from each of Indiana University's 9 campuses and centers.
- Writes and sends a weekly newsletter to all volunteers designed to update and engage them on IUAA activities; designing social media posts and other forms of digital material / marketing content that complement our Chartered Communities campaigns and major department initiatives / programs; and creating content for social media channels, with alumni volunteers as the primary audience.
- Also plays a role in other operations projects designed to increase the engagement of volunteers and alumni.
- Will be opportunities to support the Communities team's volunteer management program and strategy including but not limited to : survey development, data analysis, report building, and resource creation.
- Plays a role in helping to highlight the experiences and impact of our alumni from traditionally marginalized backgrounds in alignment with our efforts related to diversity, equity, and belonging.
- Creates communications designed to celebrate IU and the IUAA's commitment to inclusion, and shining a spotlight on the good work of our identity-based alumni communities.
- Students hired will have 2 roles in the Alumni Association : Leadership for the Student Alumni Association (SAA), IUAA's official student group that collaborates on SAA outreach, Homecoming and all Homecoming-related events.A Team Member in one of the individual IUAA departments.
