Qualifications
Database Developer Indiana University (Bloomington, IN). Responsible for the coordination and implementation of data analysis needs and activities relating to the design, implementation and maintenance of databases using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle platforms. Deliver data through the design of stored procedures, triggers, functions, and views. This will also include creating SSIS integration packages, reports, ETL and other database related tasks. Review documentation developed by Business Analysts to understand database requirements and influence the design from a database performance, security and stability perspective. Determine technical feasibility and design solutions related to business requirements. Conduct related planning, programming, data modeling, data flow diagramming, structural design, and testing. Provide advanced technical support for internal systems and integration. Reqs. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications plus 2 years progressive experience working as a database developer. Reqs 2 years experience using : development experience with Microsoft SQL Server (Release 2008 and greater) and Oracle (Release 10g or greater); T-SQL & PL-SQL scripting; SQL Server Integration Service design, deployment, maintenance, and optimization; rational database design, normalization, creating and optimizing SQL and Oracle database queries, indexes, stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, and creating reports; database planning and design, set-up, maintenance, performance tuning, and partitioning; GIT & Visual Studio Online source control repositories; agile delivery methodologies in a fast-paced, complex environment.
