Job Summary
Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Leads and coordinates logistics related to academic advising for incoming students.
- Oversees OASIS academic advising logistics to ensure a smooth experience for students and staff.
- Administers the Academic Advising Pass process, including preparation and distribution.
- Assists in organizing and facilitating academic preparation activities for New Student Orientation (NSO).
- Provides day-to-day support for the NSO Canvas course.
- Provides leadership for the organization and distribution of administrative components of NSO, including Connections Letters, Prep Packets, and other programmatic materials.
- Provides primary leadership and support for NSO email and phones.
- Provides day-to-day direction and guidance to student staff working the NSO front office.
- Collaborates with other full-time staff to develop and distribute clear NSO-related communications.
- Provides operational support for various components of the Orientation Team.
- Assists with the creation and placement of program signage for NSO events.
- Coordinates housing arrangements for students participating in New Student Orientation.

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

Advertised Salary
48,000 per year ($23.07 per hour) to $50,000 per year ($24.03 per hour)
