Department Specific Responsibilities
- Prepares food items according to menus and portion sizes under direct supervision.
- Measures, weighs, and prepares ingredients using manual or electric appliances; washes, peels, slices, and trims foods as needed for meal preparation.
- Ensures the kitchen is stocked with necessary supplies and cooking equipment, promptly notifying supervisors of low inventory or equipment issues.
- Maintains a clean and functional kitchen by cleaning equipment, appliances, and work areas, removing trash, and sanitizing garbage containers.

Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to remain stationary for extended periods and perform light to medium physical tasks in hot working conditions. The ability to perform all essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation, is required.

Work Hours
This position offers a flexible schedule and requires availability to work evenings as needed. Management may adjust work hours to accommodate special meals and events.
A minimum commitment of 10 hours per week is required, with shifts available Monday through Sunday, and the position allows for up to 29 hours per week.
