Job Summary
Undergraduate Education (UE) is seeking a motivated and creative Content Strategy Intern to assist in developing and executing engaging content strategies that enhance the visibility and impact of university initiatives. As part of the marketing team, the Content Strategy Intern will work across multiple platforms (web, social media, email, and print) to shape the university's voice, message, and digital presence.
Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the UE marketing team to develop content strategies that align with university priorities, events, and initiatives
- Create and collaborate on written and multimedia content (e.g., blog posts, social media captions, infographics, and videos) for distribution across digital platforms
- Contribute to social media strategy and execution by crafting content that drives engagement, brand awareness, and community interaction on various platforms
- Assist with website redesign efforts to consolidate content, enhance user experience and search engine optimization (SEO), track user behavior, and attract target audiences
- Stay up to date with content and digital marketing trends, providing suggestions for new strategies and tactics that resonate with target audiences
- Analyze the performance of content, track engagement metrics, and suggest content improvements or adjustments to increase effectiveness
- Ensure all content aligns with Indiana University's brand guidelines and messaging, maintaining a consistent tone and visual identity across all channels
- Participate in training opportunities related to marketing analytics, customer relationship management (CRM), and digital marketing tools, applying new skills in real-time projects

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
