The researcher who joins our team for this project will spearhead the development of metasurfaces and meta-optics capable of non-invasively studying the adaptive mechanisms in living systems. This research will involve a hybrid of simulation (e.g., FDTD) and hands-on experimental work related to metasurfaces, lab-on-chip, optical imaging, and AI-enhanced design framework. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in metaoptics, biosensing, and structured light.
*******************************************************************************************
We seek candidates who possess excellent professionalism and enthusiasm in their work, good communication skills which promote positive interactions in the lab, strong ability to problem-solve and think critically, and ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-disciplinary, fast-paced working environment.
We are committed to providing all members of our group a collaborative, supportive, and motivating academic environment with abundant opportunities to participate in interdisciplinary active collaborations and teamwork to expand their knowledge and skillset and to exercise creativity and innovation in their research work. Your successful career development is important to us, and we will invest in the development of your leadership, mentorship, and scientific writing/publication skills, presentation skills, and grants writing skills.
