Job Summary

Department-Specific Responsibilities

  • Manages the implementation of internal projects, external grants, and programs on behalf of the Kelley School, including participation in program planning, administrative management, budget development and management using Key Fact Statements (KFS) to ensure program success in reaching its goals.
  • Serves as a consultant on administrative activities with internal and external collaborators and funding sources.
  • Directs and develops the budget and implementation plans and processes (including all monitoring and reporting efforts) for program execution.

General Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with team members to develop program objectives and create policies to meet them.
  • Coordinates program operations with all collaborative units.
  • Monitors progress and maintains all necessary data bases.
  • Actively recruits program participants and researches new venues and methods of recruitment.
  • May provide guidance to support and temporary staff and coordinates workflow for the program.
  • Researches available grants and assists creating funding proposals that further advance support of the program. Writes grant reports.
  • Administers program budgets.

  • Excellent organizational skills and significant insight to make decisions regarding high level information
  • Ability to handle and manage multiple tasks, prioritize requests, work well in high stress environments, and demonstrate a high level of sensitivity to the importance of professional relationships and cultural diversity
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship skills including the ability to initiate and maintain relationships both internal and external
  • Working Conditions / Demands

    This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

    Work Hours

    This position requires occasional evening and weekend availability for summer programs.
