The Schwarz Cancer Center is seeking a motivated and passionate nurse leader to oversee its infusion operations. This managerial role encompasses the management of both daylight infusion services, catering to our oncology patient population, and evening infusion services, which serve our specialty non-oncology patients. The Nurse Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of both daylight and evening infusion services, collaborating with supervisors to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. This role involves expanding services to better meet the needs of the community and working closely with other hospital-based and ancillary departments to ensure seamless patient care. Additionally, the manager will collaborate extensively with the clinic manager and managers of other cancer center areas, including pharmacy.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting, preferably in oncology or infusion services. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care is a must. This role will report directly to the Suburban Oncology Service Line Director.

• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Basic Life Support certification required. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. v2
• Oncology & Infusion experience strongly preferred
• PCN Certification strongly preferred or the ability to obtain within 6 months of start
• Ability to communicate and trouble shoot with Physicians strongly preferred
