Build your career with IU Health! We have an exciting opportunity available for a HIV Housing Case Manager to join the Positive Link team at our Bloomington location.
The Housing Case Manager will provide a wide range of intensive, client centered services to persons with HIV/AIDS to expedite housing stability and ensure engagement and retention in care. The Housing Case Management role is responsible for the provision of grant-funded activities including housing assessment and case management, eligibility for services, and determining short-term and long-term housing assistance for eligible unhoused and at risk households. Supports the development and execution of community outreach strategies, initiatives and events that align with IU Health community outreach priorities, in meeting the identified needs of the communities. Provides assistance to team member volunteer programs. Provides administrative coordination for the system team in areas such as meeting management, budget coordination, and ad hoc project support. Supports the assigned Manager and team in successfully executing initiatives and events.
Our Ideal candidate:
- Preferred Social Work degree and/or experience in social services
- Housing counseling or advocacy experience with unhoused individuals and families or those at risk of losing their homes.
- Case management experience, preferably with diverse populations
- Must have sensitivity to, interest in and competence in cultural differences, HIV/AIDS, minority health, sexual practices, and a demonstrated competence in working with persons of color, and gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgendered community
- Experience in client centered practices and motivational interviewing.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience required.
- 0-3 Years of Experience.
- Ability to work in a complex business environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, background managing program/event logistics.
- Experience in managing program/event logistics preferred.
