The Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI) was founded in 2008 by Anantha Shekhar, MD, PhD. CTSI is recognized as a statewide institute supported by a Clinical and Translational Science Award from the National Institutes of Health's (NIH) and the National Center for Advancing Translational Science.
Indiana CTSI has research partnerships with Indiana University, Purdue University, and the University of Notre Dame, which also includes life sciences, businesses and community organizations. Furthermore, Indiana CTSI engages with the public at every level of research from basic science to patient care.

Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Monitors and maintains the biorepository facility, including associated equipment.
- Recognizes when outcomes/conditions are not as expected, performs investigations, and refers to management for corrective and preventive action decisions.
- Supports biorepository client use of the facility.
- May be required to lead implementation of modifications in procedures to satisfy corrective and preventive actions.
- Performs daily, weekly, monthly, annual, biennial, preventative maintenance, and function verification of new equipment.
- Applies quality practices (GCP, GLP, GMP, GDP, ISBER) to positively impact environmental/research compliance and quality of samples used in research.
- Identify errors and report findings to management.
- Provides on-call support to facility or equipment alarms on nights and weekends.
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)
- Bachelors degree in related field
- 2 years of experience in a warehouse, maintenance, quality assurance, inventory, technical, clerical, or customer service environment
