This position will provide community health project coordination support.
Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Coordinate monthly Chamas group sessions with program participants (pregnant & parenting women).
- Recruit and enroll eligible participants from community settings.
- Communicate and schedule group sessions.
- Conduct various routine administrative duties including data collection and data entry.
- Provide information, connection and referral to and assistance in navigating and enrolling in needed (health, social, legal, etc.) services.
- Assist with building and maintaining relationships with community organizations and resources.
- Collect and document information through questionnaires and other data collection tools.
- Provide experienced assistance with project management activities, resource allocation, and communication.
- Develop a schedule designed to meet necessary deadlines and communicate with team members.
- Monitor project progress and handle highly complex issues that arise.
- Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Allocate tasks and assignments to lower-level appointed staff and monitors their performance.
- Perform a variety of administrative skills and prepares correspondence related to the project.
EDUCATION
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 4 years of relevant experience
