What You'll Do:
As the Production Associate, you will operate advanced PLC and Robotics equipment/machines to ensure each product produced is on-time, complete, and error-free.
Your Responsibilities in the Role:
- Performs the setup, operation, and assists with tool change-over and equipment installation, while troubleshooting issues at an intermediate level, for accurate and efficient processes.
- Operates the control panel of various machines for the accurate parts being produced.
- Accountable for advising supervisor of obstacles proactively to eliminate downtime and improve efficiency, uptime and quality.
- Operates welding and painting equipment as assigned, to finish the production orders accurately.
- Measures the material that is being produced according to a control plan, and adjusts the machines as needed, to ensure a high-quality product outcome.
- Performs preventative maintenance and assists the maintenance team on machines to ensure smooth production runs.
- Performs visual inspection and/or utilizes tools or gauges for inspection to ensure a quality product.
Position Requirements:
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent background preferred
- Experience: Experience operating PLC and Robotic manufacturing equipment. Will train the right person with a demonstrated strong technical ability through High School courses or hobbies
- Certification(s): N/A.
- Functional Skills: Must have the ability to setup, operate, tear down and trouble-shoot automated equipment, use inspection gauges, and setup equipment. Good reading skills, attention to details, problem-solving, and basic math skills are also required. Ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed. Will use and mentor others on tools and advanced PLC equipment, where applicable. Technical aptitude to change machine settings is also very important.
- Technology Aptitude/Skills: Basic computer skills with an ability to review and interpret prints and coordinate with machine setup is required; can train on these skills with the right person.
- Language Skills: Good verbal and basic written communication skills.
- Leadership/Behaviors: Demonstrated high work ethic and value system, focused on quality and accuracy, and safety-minded. Ability to support 5S and Lean Initiatives, as well as adapt to new schedules and changes for the team to be successful.

Hours: 4-10 hour days Shift: 6:30am - 5:30 pm Monday-Thursday

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
