Essential Functions:
- Work alongside human resources and operating company leaders to develop effective and practical benefits strategies related to cost, delivery, and administration.
- Identify preferred carriers and plans based on acquired quotes, available benefits, and prior experience.
- Prepare and conduct benefits package presentations for review with company leaders to ensure the delivery of progressive and effective benefit programs.
- Work with assigned brokers and others to identify trends in benefits program competitiveness and delivery.
- Work with company leaders on developing practical approaches and methods of effective and efficient delivery of benefits programs to employees.
- Maintain knowledge base of changing regulations and requirements in the benefits administration and delivery arena and communicate significant changes to company leaders and others as appropriate.
- Assist in overseeing the company’s 401(k) plan, including administration, document retention, and plan transitions.
- Manage employee insurance programs, including life, disability, and health insurance plans in conjunction with Professional Employer Organization (PEO) administrator partner.
- Collaborate with Human Resources Partners to advise and inform employees of changes and developments related to benefits including eligibility, coverage, and provisions.
- Ensure completeness of records, reporting, and other documentation required by federal, state, provider rules, regulations, and policies.
- Monitor administrator/insurance carriers’ reports to ensure the company’s compliance with plan requirements.
- Ensures the company and plan compliance with the applicable provisions of COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA.

- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, management, or a related field and three ( ) years of experience working in benefits preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate experience in analyzing cost/benefits ratios, utilization analysis, and administration of Section 125 Plans and COBRA.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software including proficiency in PowerPoint.

Salary : $65,000
