Job Summary:
The Indianapolis Indians seek internship candidates to provide high-level service, assistance and supervision to Victory Field’s premium hospitality areas. Candidates should maintain high moral character, be energetic, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare hospitality areas including suite level, concourse picnic areas and the Yuengling Landing with appropriate signage, materials, and equipment
- Supervise nightly corporate picnics and suite level groups – monitoring guests, game day staff, facilities, and services
- Serve as resource to game day staff members by communicating any pertinent game day information
Other Duties:
- Tabulate and report nightly picnic attendance
- Assist in various game day staffing roles wherever help is needed
- Assist in various ticket office duties including but not limited to answering phones and working a ticket window
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or currently enrolled in a college/university
- Previous experience in customer service or a sports environment is preferred
Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent customer service, people and relationship skills
- Ability to work on foot and be mobile
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays from April through September
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Compensation:
$60/game; Estimated 6-7 hours per game for 50 Indians games
