- Responsible for the monitoring and care of students while being transported to and from school
- Keep order and maintain discipline among the students
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
- Possess and display good moral character
- Operate the school bus in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures
- Responsible for any other functions that will promote the safety, ease, and general well-being of transporting students
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid CDL driver's license with passenger and S and P endorsement
- Valid yellow card as required by the Department of Education
- Pre-employment drug/alcohol screening
- 10-YEAR safe driving record
