What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook Server (Rotating) position at Indianapolis Public Schools?
DUTIES
Serves the lunch line, helps with prep and end of day cleaning.
Applicant must be willing to learn cashiering.
Applicant must be willing to travel to all kitchens as needed.
Also, will do any other duties as assigned by the Cafeteria Manager.
Requirements
Job requires good communication skills including writing and reading abilities as a successful applicant will need to communicate with students, staff, administration and the public.
Applicant must be able to push, pull or lift items weighing at least 35 pounds.
You will also be required to attend any job-related training as provided by the Food Service Dept.
During probation, must be able to pass a the ServSafe or Always Food Safe Food Handler test with a state passing grade.
