ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following.
- Develop and deliver curriculum aligned with college-level English standards and learning objectives.
- Provide direct instruction in English composition, literature, and critical analysis.
- Design and assess assignments, projects, and exams to evaluate student progress.
- Offer individualized support and feedback to promote student success.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
- Collaborate with high school staff, counselors, and college faculty to ensure seamless program delivery.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational practices and curriculum standards.
- Master's degree in English, Literature, Composition, or a related field.
- Master's degree in a different field and a Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in English.
- Previous teaching experience at the high school or college level preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Must meet college and state qualifications for dual credit instructors.
