REPORTS TO: The Principal and the Special Education Teacher
DESCRIPTION: Works on a team under the direction of the school's certified Special Education Teacher in order to support students with moderate to significant needs due to any qualifying combination of cognative, communicative, health, or physical impairements.

Qualifications
- Have a love of working with K-6 students.
- Be a team player and maintain good attendance.
- Be quick to recognize and celebrate successes.
- Have 2 years of accredited college coursework, or be willing to prepare for and take the Para Pro Exam or related assessments.
- Be physically capable of regular walking/standing, moving/operating assistive equiptment, assisting/monitoring student movement, aiding in potty training/restroom needs, and be comfortable working with unique medical conditions.
- Manage small groups of students and guide them through daily/lesson activities.
- Support progress monitoring of academic and life skills with activity logs/records/reports.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Principal or their designee.
